Edward Williams and Ross Connock have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Airsprung Group PLC and Airsprung Furniture Limited to manage their affairs, business and property as their agents and without personal liability. The Joint Administrators are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

The Joint Administrators may act as controllers of personal data as defined by UK data protection law depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. The Joint Administrators continue to trade the Airsprung and Airofreem businesses. The Factory Shop on Canal Road Industrial Estate, Trowbridge remains open under regular opening hours offering discounted prices for various stock lines. Please note that we are unable to take orders through the Factory Shop Website. Gainsborough, Arena-design, Hushabyebeds and Swanglen have ceased trading upon appointment of the Joint Administrators.

From 1871 right through to today, Airsprung’s reason-to-be has always been to produce well made, comfortable beds that people want to buy – at an affordable price.
Quick to realise that effective logistics was going to be a key component of future manufacturing – particularly being one of the single largest sites in the UK today means offering the widest array of mattresses, divans and bedframes available anywhere, and to suit and budget.
First and foremost we are bed manufacturers, directly supporting our retail partners on behalf of their customers in providing a range of quality affordable products that they can choose from.
Just hoping for the best is never enough – our aim is always to supply popular, great selling beds which attract positive and well-deserved reviews.
Our belief is that one should never be surprised by what might be achieved.

Airsprung Beds has been manufacturing beds in Trowbridge for over 150 years and has been known by its current name since 1965. The Canal Road site covers 28 acres – that’s 18.5 football pitches – with an overall Airsprung Group production daily capacity of approximately 2250 mattresses, 200 headboards and 35 sofabeds – it’s a significant operation. It’s been here since 1968 – the same year The Beatles released Yellow Submarine! Also properly British through and through.
